Canon Resource Link: How Sociopaths Make Friends

Character History:

Do you wanna know the life story of a horrible sociopath? Oh good. It's tough to say if the little we see about Young Peter is true. He's notorious for lying and Stiles says he's an unreliable narrator. Not much light is shed onto his past until we see him giving Derek some trouble in school. It's clear Peter is out of school at this point, but still wants to live in the legacy he left behind. He chooses to manipulate Derek though and anyone else in an effort to get in good with his older sister. It's because of Peter that Derek's girlfriend ends up dead and Derek gains his blue eyes. Also at some point in his past Peter slept with a woman and she got pregnant with his daughter. The memory was taken from him by his sister though and Peter lived the rest of his life for himself and no one else.

Peter's true story comes to light when Kate Argent convinces some men to burn his family home to the ground. Peter is trapped inside with the rest of them and burns as well. He manages to survive, but remains catatonic and badly burned. Eventually though he starts to heal and come back into the land of the living. He uses his psychotic nurse to move a number of pieces into place for him. Once he's able to lure his Alpha niece back to town he murders her and takes her Alpha status to seek revenge against the group of hunters who were responsible for burning him and his family.

In Season One Peter is hardly ever seen as Peter. He's always seen in wolf form. He was the one responsible for biting Scott McCall in the woods. Peter claims his first victim in a school bus late at night. Later in Alpha form he chases Kate Argent's car when she arrives in town. Later in the show Derek finally visits Peter in the hospital only to find him catatonic and badly burned like before. You're unaware that Peter and the Alpha wolf are the same person until much later though.

Peter claims his second victim in a video store that Jackson Whittemore was going into. He was going to kill Jackson, but the wolfsbane in his scratches made him flee instead. Lydia captured his wolf leaving on her phone and this haunted her for some time. Thus begins Peter's reign of terrorizing Lydia Martin. Peter toys with Scott in his Alpha form. When Scott, Stiles and Derek go to the school in an attempt to draw the Alpha in it works. Peter shows up in Alpha form and appears to kill Derek who we later discover lived through the attack. Stiles and Scott flee into the high school when Peter attacks. Peter's psychotic nurse accomplice texts Allison Argent and convinces her to come to the school under the guise of being Scott. Allison arrives with Jackson and Lydia in tow. The three go inside which gives Peter five potential targets. He slaughters the janitor and uses his Alpha abilities to get Scott to shift and kill his friends. Scott is able to resist though. The cops arrive and Peter flees.

He slaughters two men in the woods and approaches Adrian Harris in his office, but he's thwarted by Derek who starts to put the pieces together. It's Stiles who is able to follow the clues though and put together that Peter Hale is the Alpha they've been searching for. He discovers that all the men that have been dying are people connected to the Hale house fire.. He approaches him at the hospital only for Peter to attack him. Derek manages to intervene at the right moment and stop Peter from killing Stiles. Peter exerts his superior strength and convinces Derek to make an uneasy alliance to kill the people who killed their family.

When the two approach Scott they try to convince him to join their way of thinking. Scott refuses and Peter attempts to show him what they did. He still says no. Peter resorts to asking Scott's mother on a date in an effort to manipulate Scott. He threatens to kill her if Scott doesn't join up with him. Scott manages to get Stiles to rear end their car and derail the date. Peter tells Scott about their plan to kill Jackson which sends Scott charging into the woods to the Hale house to save him.

After Scott is shot by hunters Peter goes to the vet (who is treating Scott's wounds) and tries to take him by force. When he discovers the mountain ash barrier he retreats in anger. He tries his hand at getting close to Allison only for her to leave once things get awkward. At the dance Peter lurks close by. When Lydia goes out to look for Jackson he decides to start his Plan B in case his actual plans go south. This information isn't revealed until Season Two, but Lydia is immune. Peter is able to bite her and infect her with part of his spirit for a resurrection he talks her through in Season Two.

Stiles clues Peter in that he has a way to find Derek who has been captured by hunters. Derek took Scott's phone when they split up at the Hale house. Peter forces Stiles to help him track his nephew down. During this he reveals to Stiles that he's finally killed his nurse and she's in the truck of the car they're working on top of. He offers to bite Stiles who refuses much to Peter's curiosity.

Peter arrives at the Hale house (where Derek was being held) a little late. By this point Kate and Allison have attempted to capture Scott and Derek. Chris shows up to stop Kate because he now knows what his sister did to the Hale family. Peter comes in wolf form and attacks. He takes Chris down first and then pulls Kate into the burned house with him. He stands in human form with her in his grasp when Allison goes inside. He breaks down and tells her to apologize for what she did. When she does he still kills her because she never meant it. He moves to attack Allison, but Scott stops him. Peter knocks Derek unconscious which just leaves him to defeat Scott. The fight tumbles out of the house where Stiles and Jackson show up with molotovs they throw at Peter who is in his wolf form. Peter catches one only to have Allison (who has been tossed her crossbow) shoot it in his hands. He catches fire and turns human. He lays a broken and burnt mess, but still alive. Scott who is looking to cure himself (through killing the one who bit him) begs Derek to stand down. Derek ignores him and kills Peter. Derek obtains Peter's Alpha status which leaves Peter dead and Scott a wolf forever. Way to go, Derek.

Season Two is like the ballad of Hallucination Peter Hale. After infecting Lydia with his spirit he's able to sort of live on inside of her. Kind of like sharing a brain or something. It's really weird and Teen Wolf never explains it in great deal. Peter probably doesn't even understand it. When he's not living in Lydia's head he's just slinking around in the shadows because he's no longer capable of healing properly or fully transforming.

He spends the majority of the season fucking with Lydia Martin by appearing to her in various places. He also appears to her in a younger form and tries to sort of befriend her. The two share a very super awkward kiss in the Hale house, but Lydia is unaware of this. Peter's mind manipulation makes her believe it's just an empty house that's not burnt and broken. He eventually morphs into his burned form. He explains to her that she's key to his plan due to her bite immunity. We soon discover that Peter's body has been buried underneath the Hale house after being killed by Derek.

Later he appears to Lydia in her bedroom looking less disgusting, but just as creepy. He gives her his instructions which she carries out flawlessly due to what is most likely some sort of mind control. She poisons the punch at her birthday party with Wolfsbane, digs up the floorboards in the Hale house covering his body and manages to drag Derek there by rendering him unconscious and weak. With mirrors, moonlight and Derek she brings Peter Hale back to the land of the living. Peter leaves the unconscious Derek to his own devices. He sticks to the shadows as he attempts to get his strength back completely.

Creepy Matt and his Kanima buddy Jackson basically take the Sheriff's station hostage. Matt has control of Kanima Jackson (who sucks and is super violent) and uses him to do his dirty work. Matt manages to escape the siege the hunters make on the station and gets to a small bridge over what is probably a river. Gerard (Allison's creepy geriatric grandpa who taught Kate how to be crazy) is there already waiting for him. He kills Matt and takes control of Kanima Jackson. Peter watches this happen from the bridge and doesn't bother to intervene because he knows he's too weak still.

Peter does go to the Hale house where Derek is currently staying. The two fight and Peter gets his ass kicked due to still being weak from the resurrection. Peter explains to Derek that he has a way to save Jackson and end Gerard for good. Peter and Derek link up again and try to recruit Isaac and Scott as well to help stop Gerard. Jackson dies on the lacrosse field and cocoons himself in venom. It's Peter and Derek who figure out that he's transforming into an even worse version of Kanima. One that has wings much to Derek's displeasure. He does express an interest in reaching Jackson through his heart (aka his love for Lydia), but realizes they're out of time. Him and Derek decide to just kill him. After a fight they manage to get Jackson back to human form. Him and Derek move in to put their claws into Jackson which kills him. Jackson comes back as a werewolf which is when things get confusing. Later after everything is calm Derek, Peter and Isaac linger outside the Hale home. Peter explains why Derek was so rocking a raging Alpha power boner. The Alpha Pack was making it's way to Beacon Hills. They discover a symbol on their front door and Peter announces they're already here.

Peter isn't brought in until Derek calls on him to dig in Isaac's head for memories of where he was held. They haven't been able to find Boyd and Erica since they left the pack which has Derek worried. The only thing Peter can see is Boyd and Deucalion (Alpha Pack Leader). He hears Deucalion say his captives will be dead by midnight. That's all Peter is able to pick up.

Once they figure out that they're being kept in a bank vault they begin to devise a plan. Though Peter doesn't really seem up for participating. When Derek asks for backup Peter says no. He explains he's not up to his usual strength yet and he'd rather not get killed by the Twins Transformer Wolf. He shows no compassion for others which really isn't that much of a surprise. Peter cares mainly about himself.

With the team out trying to save Boyd and Erica they leave Peter behind with Stiles. The two spend a few minutes snarking, but return to speculating on why a bank vault and why wait until now to kill them. Deucalion has had them for three full moons. There must be some reason. Peter begins to show more of an interest in this topic and eventually figures out the vault is lined with a certain mineral. Hecatolite or Moonstone. It's blocked the natural moonlight from reaching those in the vault. Once the moonlight does hit them they'll lose all control. Peter explains it like starving lions before a gladiator fight. Derek will be punching a hole in a wall to gain access which will expose them to the moonlight. Scott and Derek are walking into a lion's den. We eventually discover that Erica's dead and the woman inside the vault with Boyd was Cora (Derek's younger sister). Yeah. I thought she was dead too. Apparently she was dicking around in some foreign country and no one knew.

Peter actually goes out to warn Derek of what he's learned, but he's too late. Cora and Boyd have already escaped and are unleashed upon Beacon Hills. He explains that Deucalion is trying to force Derek's hand in killing off his pack so it'll be easier for Derek to join his Alpha Pack. He suggests Derek stand down to not get sucked in. He also makes a bold suggestion that Derek cold just kill them and put this whole thing to bed. Derek is an Alpha and he could make more little teenage angsty wolves. Derek ignores this and goes after them.

Eventually Derek gets the genius plan to bring the attack to Deucalion's door. He plans an attack with the group while Peter listens on uninterested in a fight. He agrees with Scott's plan of no killing, but not without some mocking. Boyd tries to compare Deucalion to a snake and claims that if they cut off the head (Deucalion) the rest will crumble. Peter says they're a Hydra meaning that two more just grow back in their place. Much to everyone's surprise Peter was right and the fight went south. Scott ends up wounded and Derek manages to tumble to his almost death with Ennis. They lay in a crumpled mess in the abandoned mall (where the fight took place) and the rest scatter.

It's actually Peter that advises the group from approaching Deucalion while he sorts out this Ennis and Derek mess. Cora goes to the mall only for Peter to show up as well and for them both to discover both bodies are missing. They speculate on what happened only for the topic to turn to things of a personal nature. She brings up Peter murdering Laura and Peter points out that Derek murdered him. They both decide they don't trust each other. Cora tries to object to him finding her untrustworthy only for Peter to point out she's been gone for six years. He doesn't know what she's been doing with herself. This moment proves that the Hales are the worst family ever to family.

Later the two go to the animal clinic where Deaton (super mysterious vet) works. Peter explains the place is made of mountain ash and that getting in will be tricky. Cora suggests knocking, but then Peter senses the Alpha Pack are already inside with the injured Ennis. They hang around and eventually figure out Ennis is dead. This means Kali (Alpha Pack foot fetish member) is going to seek revenge against Derek if he manages to live through his injuries.

Weird shit happens while Peter is gone. Derek bangs a pretty teacher. The teenagers get fucked up in some weird motel. Eventually Kali comes at Derek for revenge with the help of the Twins. They're able to push Boyd onto Derek's claws after a fight effectively killing him. Derek flees later. Peter explains (he lies it's lying) how Derek got his blue eyes. He manages to leave out the bits of him manipulating Derek when he was a teenager. He freaked Derek out about dating a human. Derek tried to get Ennis (who wasn't a psycho Alpha Pack member back then) to give her the bite. It didn't take. Derek held and consoled her under a broken down building where the Nematon (some crazy ass mystical tree that has relevance later) was. He has to kill Paige to spare her suffering and his eyes change from yellow to blue signifying he took an innocent human life. This also jump started the Nematon which helped Jennifer Blake (a mauled woman) cling to life through it's mystical juice. Jennifer Blake is also the woman Derek is banging and she's also killing people left and right to make her Darach powers jacked up enough to kill the Alpha Pack because they suck a big bag of dicks. It's a very confusing storyline that Peter really has no part of for quite some time.

Once Cora falls ill though it's Peter who steps up to take care of her in the hospital. Peter stays by her side and watches her. Derek, Scott and Stiles attempt to bring Jennifer Blake to the hospital believing she's the only one who can save Cora. She's probably lying. She's a big fat liar just like Peter. The Alpha Pack show up though and attack Peter as he tries to protect Cora. The group shows up in time to help Peter who still isn't at full strength and combat them. Deucalion starts to do all sorts of crazy shit in the hospital and Kali decides she wants to fuck with Jennifer Blake who we discover was an emissary to her pack once upon a time. Kali mauled her and left her for dead in order to join Deucalion's super secret Alpha dance club. We also discover that Jennifer's real face is not as pretty and she looks super duper gross without magic to cover it.

Peter actually steps up to help and fight this time. He injects himself with Epinephrine in an attempt to be good enough to fight the Twins with Scott's help. Things don't go too well, but they're able to buy some time. Things go incredibly sideways in the hospital though. Jennifer gets loose from the group and kidnaps Scott's mom to add to her kidnapped parent collection. She already claimed Stiles' dad not long before. The Alpha Pack are super butt hurt about everything. We learn Scott is a True Alpha and Peter could not be more proud of his little baby wolf. Peter and the others are able to get Cora out of the hospital and to safety. We do see Peter's true colors though when he tells Isaac to punch the gas and leave the others behind.

While Cora lays half dead in the loft it's Peter who announces to Derek that he knows of a way to save her. He can channel all of his Alpha energy into her which should heal her. It'll strip Derek of his Alpha status, but Cora would be okay. Derek decides to do it and we get to see Peter smiling to himself. He's probably super pleased to demote his nephew down to Beta so that stealing Scott's True Alpha status will become easier.

Lydia and Ethan arrive in the loft to tell Peter, Cora and Derek about Cora and Aiden approaching to kill Derek. Peter actually advises that Derek run due to him being incredibly weak at this point. He doesn't stand a chance against both of them. Peter admits that he doesn't know if Derek will lose, but he acknowledges Lydia's growing abilities. He asks her to tell him what she feels. She announces she feels like she's standing on a graveyard and this prompts Derek to run away with Cora. Peter sees them off and tells them not to call until they're far. This is the last we see of Peter until much later.

After Deucalion slashes Jennifer's throat it's Peter who finds her at the Nematon trying to save her life once again. The same tree all juiced up originally by Derek and Paige. The same tree that saved her originally. Peter approaches from the darkness and hovers over her. She acknowledges how he's managed to play all of this in his favor. All because he wants to be an Alpha again by stealing Scott's True Alpha status. Peter does a crazy villain yell about always being the Alpha and slashes her throat. Apparently Peter has some weird love of killing the female villains. It's kinda weird. Wow, Jeff Davis. Wow.

A few weeks later at the end of Anchors we see Peter and Derek have been captured by some crazy hunter people who have taken to torturing the two. They're being held in place by an electric current running through the fence they're strapped to. Apparently it's Peter's fault they're here, but that's actually just Derek being an ass. Peter cracks some jokes with his torturers who we find out are looking for la loba which means she wolf. Derek wrongfully assumes it's probably Cora. Actually everyone wrongfully assumes that because no one knows what the fuck is going on with Cora. One of the female torturers (who is an old lady) knows Derek won't talk. She does think Peter will though. She recognizes that Peter loves the sound of his own voice. He makes a joke about her hearing him sing. Eventually she cuts his finger off. Peter is so very displeased. He even goes so far as to ask them to put it on ice for him.

Eventually Peter and Derek are saved by some badass girl from the beginning of Season Three who saved Isaac from the Alpha Pack at the beginning of the first episode. We also assume later she's killed by Deucalion due to the fact that it basically looks like he slashed her throat or something gross. She has a scar though and has apparently been hired by Deucalion to find and rescue Derek. She expresses no interest in saving Peter, but does so anyways. Peter grabs his finger from the floor and presses it to his stump. It begins to reattach slowly.

The trio go after a wooden chest upstairs and discover it's made of mountain ash. The girl kicks the lock off and opens it for them. Peter watches as Derek pulls a container with a spiral from inside. The spiral that holds a special place in the Hale family weird gross bloody saga.

Back in the loft the pair discover what is inside the container. It's Talia Hale's nails. Talia is Derek's mother and Peter's older sister. Derek explains that he sewed Peter's finger back on because he wants Peter to embed the nails under his so that he can jam them into the back of Derek's neck. Derek will then be able to ask his mother a question. Werewolf stuff is starting to get confusingly weird. Peter says he wants to keep the nails after if he does this. Derek slams Peter's hand down to jam the nails into his fingers and claims Peter was taking too long. Peter then expresses joy in causing his nephew a little pain after what he did. While speaking with his mother we don't quite know what Derek asked her. When he comes back though he looks shocked and confused. Peter begins to rapid fire questions at his nephew. It's obvious he's worried about what Talia Hale told his nephew about him.

We next see Peter Hale lurking around the high school like the general creep that he is. He hits on Lydia's mother and soon Lydia approaches her mother after seeing this. He apparently told Lydia's mom he was there to set up hearing tests for the students. This is a sort of code to Lydia who found out she was a banshee in the first half of the season. He basically drops hints that he can help her learn a little more information about what she is. He even gives Lydia's mother his phone number. Lydia eventually drags Allison with her to the loft where Peter is lurking about. The two girls acknowledge that Peter won't freely give out his help. It'll most likely be a manipulation of some sort. Lydia is still reeling from her powers not working and sees Peter as the only one with answers.

Peter is not happy with Allison's presence and requests she leave. Lydia refuses. They reference that the last time Peter was alone with her Lydia almost bled out on the lacrosse field. Peter tries to defend his creepy wolf actions and claims that he was the one that brought her super rad banshee abilities to life by biting her. He then says a line that I don't want to repeat because it's cheesy and so overly dramatic that I want to vomit. Then we see just how crazy Peter Hale is when he claims that his bite was just some big elaborate plan to bring out her abilities and then help her learn to use them. Allison says he's insane and that they should leave. Lydia agrees.

He throws them a bone though regarding Lydia's powers to keep them from leaving. He tells Lydia that her "banshee scream" is her blocking out all the other sounds to hear the important things. He claims to be able to teach her how to learn to hear. He tells her that all he wants in return is for her to listen to his sister's claws and figure out what this big secret is she took from his memories. Lydia agrees, but when it doesn't work immediately he grows more upset. He yells, but Allison pulls out her weird electric cattle prod thing and holds it to his neck. He brings up the memory of how he killed Kate despite her having one. It's Lydia who yells at them to stop and throws the claws. They stick to a beam and she begins to hear whispering from them. She turns to Peter and tells him "you're not just an uncle". He tries to shake more information out of her, but Lydia claims all she knows is that he's a father. When he becomes too aggressive Allison basically tazes his ass and drops him like a sack of potatoes. Lydia and Allison discover that Malia (this crazy coyote girl) is Peter's actual daughter. I don't get it either.

Peter's final episode in Season Three is De-Void. He approaches Derek and asks why he's messing with the chessboard the Nogitsune Stiles set up. Yeah so apparently Stiles has some crazy ass dark fox living inside of him that's fucking shit up and waging war on everyone. Peter never really shows an invested interest in this beyond what happens in this episode. He's more concerned with his daughter. Peter also asks why the slash on his back (obtained from an Oni sword) isn't healing. Derek says it will and explains that he's trying to figure out the game the Nogitsune is playing. Peter suggests he's playing a game with no rules. He actually helps Derek figure a few things out about the chessboard and the Nogitsune. Peter is probably the most knowledgeable person in this show when it comes to supernatural shit. He just chooses to make sure it comes at a price when people ask for help. On his way out he comments that chess is Stiles' game and not the fox's.

Eventually the group has captured Nogitsune Stiles and can't get into contact with Derek. Lydia suggests they call Peter who shows up knowing that if he helps Lydia has agreed to give him the name of his child. He discovers that they need to reach Stiles inside his own head. It's a battle for his mind. They need to make contact. Once again the weird claw thing comes into play here. Peter teaches Scott where to plunge them. It's explained early in Season Two that this technique is extremely difficult to master. They can slip and paralyze someone if they're not careful. Peter guides Scott's hands and helps him make a weird mental link with Stiles and Lydia by plunging his claws into both of their necks. They're able to reach Stiles and pull him free from a strange mental chess game he's playing with the Nogitsune inside his mind. Presumably for control of his body.

Peter actually becomes helpful when Lydia experiences trouble inside of Stiles' mind. He yells at her from the outside world to help shake her free and get to Stiles with Scott. When they come back to reality he quickly ushers Lydia off to the other side of the room and she tells him it's Malia. Stiles comes to and starts to pull bandaging from his mouth. It forms a pile on the floor and eventually a bandaged hand comes out of them. Once it's formed it lunges at the group. Peter and Scott step forward to hold him down, but Scott tells Peter to stop when he senses something. The group discover that the bandaged man is actually Stiles and Nogitsune (who also looks like Stiles) has fled the house with Lydia as his captive. Presumably Peter dicks off to go stalk his kid. Peter Hale exit stage right to be the worst dad ever.

Abilities/Special Powers: All from the Wiki. Because sometimes explaining Jeff Davis' world is really hard and makes no sense.

Though it's important to note that Peter Hale does have a full on scary wolf look. It's unknown if that was simply due to him being an Alpha or if it was something he learned to do. Probably Alpha status. Peter is also a little weaker than he usually is right now. It actually hasn't been that long since he returned from the dead so his powers have been a little dull. He did survive a fight with the Twins, but he was dosed with drugs to help give him an edge. While he can't beat Derek or Scott we're unsure of how he'd fair against a Beta in a fight. He does have superior training and knowledge when it comes to being a wolf and fighting as one. Plus he's a sneaky underhanded bastard.

Heightened Senses: Werewolves can smell, see and hear far better than humans.

Accelerated Healing: Werewolves heal quickly from most injuries.

Enhanced Agility: Werewolves can jump, run, climb and react faster than humans.

Enhanced Strength: Werewolves are much stronger than humans.

Pain Transference: Werewolves can absorb and alleviate pain from other people/creatures and can "heal" in some cases.

Memory Transference: Werewolves can transfer (give or take) memories by inserting claws into nape of an individual's neck. This ability can also allow direct "mind to mind' communication.

Third-Person Sample: Peter's been through a fair number of traumatic experiences. His sister stole a memory of him. The memory of his daughter. He's been burned alive. He's had his throat slashed. He's lived inside a teenage girl's head. Though lived inside is such a loose term. Explaining it is just so irritatingly long and boring. He's had his finger cut off. So many awful things and yet he still stands. The one they can't kill. They apparently just don't try hard enough. Teenagers these days just lack the follow through and the focus. When Peter Hale kills someone they stay dead. Mostly.

He opens his eyes only for them to burn. The sea water is harsh. He starts paddling immediately and surfaces. His mouth opens and he gasps for air. He can see land which is a very good sign, but he's not sure how long he's even been out in this water. He immediately starts to swim. Fast and with a purpose. Getting out of the water and back onto land. Whoever thought it was a funny idea to dump him in the ocean is a cruel barbarian. They've essentially ruined his shirt. These clothes? Dry clean only. Not dump in the ocean and hope they don't shrink or fade. Idiots. Simple idiots.

It's not that long before he makes it onto land. He crawls across the sand on his hands and knees slowly. He lifts his head to look at the sky and there's a growl deep in his throat. He's gonna kill whoever is responsible for this. No rational talking or approaching the situation with a cool head. He's going to slash their throat and dance on their grave. "Amateurs." He whispers as he pushes himself up onto his knees and wipes his hands off on the front of his pants. The sand sticks to the material. Finally he gets onto his feet and looks up and down the beach for signs of life. Anyone that might be able to point Peter in the direction of a person who knows just what the hell is going on.

Kidnapping someone is a fine art. You certainly don't do it and drop them somewhere dangerous with no idea if they'll wake up in time to save themselves. That's just embarrassing. You put them in a dark room and let them sweat for a few hours before approaching them. This is just borderline Saw or something equally stupid and overly dramatic for no apparent reason.

Peter takes a moment to pop his claws just to make sure everything is still in working order. No wounds. His powers are just fine. No worse or better than before. There's a phone a few feet in front of him in the sand which he bends to pick up. He pockets it and decides he needs to move. He turns to follow the sound of people up the beach. Hopefully he'll get some answers that way.

First-Person Sample: [ Peter's original thought is that this is the Nogitsune's doing. It makes sense. Kidnap them all to sweep that board of his. It's smart. Not exactly Peter's first move, but making them fish outta water would definitely benefit his cause of chaos. Still not the move that Peter would have attempted to make. Then again he's never been a traditional man. Certainly not in how he approaches a situation.

He's hesitant to attempt to use the device. It's pleasant enough, but who would he
be contacting. Probably not anyone helpful. Unless they can offer him a way out. Or some sort of helpful information. Then again what Peter finds helpful isn't always what others may find helpful. ]

I appreciate a good day at the beach, but asking my permission would have been polite.

[ He doesn't trust this video feature or voice feature. Texting is irritating and exhausting, but better than risking someone seeing him. He'd rather not have his face plastered all over the place. Especially if he runs into someone he knows. Anonymous is much safer. ]

Kidnapping a man is rude enough, but not bothering to stick around to talk to them after the act? Just awful. Who taught you manners? A wild animal? I retract that statement. A wild animal has more honor than you apparently do.

[ He's so huffy. His fingers keep sliding over the keys. He doesn't appreciate being dropped in the ocean, Wonderland. It's just rude and childish. ]
